"Cinderella in the Caribbean" takes the classic fairytale and whisks it away to a sunny island setting, starring Emma Reinagel as Ashlyn, the modern-day Cinderella. While the film offers a light and predictable escape, it stumbles upon some familiar pitfalls.

Ashlyn finds herself coerced by her stepmother, Miriam (Vivica A. Fox), to accompany her on a luxurious Caribbean vacation for her wedding to the wealthy Bruce (Rich Bryant). Just like her fairytale namesake, Ashlyn is forced into servitude, juggling her studies and work with household chores. However, a chance encounter with Bruce's kind-hearted son, Noah (Connor McGee), sparks a connection that could rewrite her destiny.
